Street Fighter’s Ryu and Fire Emblem’s Roy have been rumoured for Super Smash Bros. for quite a while but after newly leaked videos of both the characters in-game came out, we can say the rumours are pretty much true.
Two separate videos, viewable below, show off the two new characters headed to Super Smash Bros. in a future update:

The update brings a trophy based on Splatoon and new stages including Dreamworld 64.
Nintendo has announced a livestream for this Sunday where they will talk about new content headed for both Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. Chances are we’ll get an official announcement for Roy and Ryu on the livestream.
