Samurai Shodown update version 1.02 is available to download now on the PS4 and Xbox One. Here are the full patch notes for this brand new update.
This update implements a couple of balance changes and makes minor tweaks. The first is that rage quit has been improved and now if someone ends a ranked match, it is no longer treated as a disconnect. The second tweak has been made to backstepping which is now the same for everyone.

Samurai Shodown Update Version 1.02 Full Patch Notes (PS4, Xbox One)
According to the community manager of SNK, this patch has fixed the following issues.
- Ending a ranked match is no longer treated as a disconnect.
- Backstepping is now the same for everyone (all characters are counted as airborne immediately after backstepping.)
