SCUM sells over 250,000 copies on Steam in 24 hours, is Devolver’s biggest Digital Launch

SCUM has proved to be Devolver Digital’s biggest online-only release by selling over 250,000 copies on Steam in 24 hours.

The game went into Steam Early Access on August 29, 2018 with many expecting a full release next year.

The SCUM community has been incredible and we’re thankful for the over 250k copies sold in less than 24 hours!

Rest assured, the team is working on updates to give you a best in class survival game.

SCUM is a multiplayer online survival game similar to DayZ but way more hardcore having players keep an eye on a lot of things to survive. Just check this image below of the game’s “advanced” UI, don’t worry you can turn this off.

SCUM runs on Unreal Engine 4 and is developed by Croatian Studio Gamepires and produced by Croteam, the folks behind Serious Sam. The game is currently selling for $20, although do note this price could increase as the PC exclusive goes through development.
