See Dualshock 4 Controller being connected to a PC without any hassle

Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida had confirmed that Dualshock 4 controller will work for PC but we never knew how it will actually work. A new video shows the controller being connected to PC and working out of the box.

Sony’s Dualshock 3 controller never really got official support for using as a controller on PC, where as Microsoft did support their Xbox 360 controller for PC usage and hence it was the norm in the previous generation. We could still play using Dualshock 3 controller on PC but we had to use other third party drivers instead of official drivers from Sony.

Now that Sony has finally introduced official support for the Dualshock 4 controller, people can just plug and play them on PC like they did with Xbox 360’s controller. Of course, the button layout will still be a problem but if Dualshock 4 is officially supported, maybe, the developers will start showing the layout for both the Xbox One controller and the Dualshock 4 controller.
