Sekiro has multiple endings and the ending you get depends on the decisions you make throughout the game. Here is how to get all endings in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Sekiro has a total of four endings to the game in your quest to protect Kuro. Every different ending requires you to act differently in the game but you need to earn all trophies and achievements to see all outcomes. Read on to find out more.
How to get the ‘Return’ ending in Sekiro?
After defeating the Corrupted Monk and the Guardian Ape, on your way back to Ashina Castle, you will encounter the Great Shinobi Owl. You will have the option to either obey Kuro or the Owl. Choose Kuro to get the Return ending in Sekiro.
Further, you will need to perform a number tasks but mainly you need to obtain the Frozen Tears from the Divine Child. You will get these in exchange for Dried Serpent Viscera and Fresh Serpent Viscera. After having the Frozen Tears in your possession, when you end the game you will get the Return ending and achievement.
How to get the ‘Purification’ ending in Sekiro?
Again, you will need to choose to listen to Kuro and defeat the Great Shinobi Owl to get the Purification ending in Sekiro. However, after this, you will also need to follow a few specific steps. Go to Isshin’s house and eavesdrop on Isshin and Emma’s conversation. Next, eavesdrop on Kuro and then take a short rest. Now, go to Emma and you will end up talking about Kuro, you will have to agree with her in the conversation.
After doing this, fast travel to the Old Grave Idol and talk to Emma there again and then fast travel to the Sculptor Place Idol. At the Sculptor Place Idol, hide behind the building and eavesdrop on Emma and the Sculptor’s conversation. Lastly, confront Emma about what you heard and then she will give you a bell, which can later be used at the Buddha statue. Now, after completing all the instructions, you will get the Purification ending in Sekiro when you complete the game.
Getting ‘Shura’ ending in Sekiro
Shura ending is also known as the bad ending by some. To get this ending, you simply have to obey the Great Shinobi Owl. Other than this, just end the game normally and you will get the Shura ending in Sekiro.
‘Immortal Service’ in Sekiro
To get the Immortal Service in Sekiro, all you need to do is take on the Great Shinobi Owl by obeying Kuro. After defeating the owl, ending the game regularly and you will get the Immortal Service ending.
