Nixxes has released another update today for Shadow of the Tomb Raider on PC that is mostly a hotfix to their last patch. This is a hotfix for update 4 that patched the game to version 235.5.
According to the official patch notes, this deals with audio issues, crashes or visual glitches that started to occur after the last update. This update is only available on PC so far so don’t get your hopes up for a console version. As for the full patch notes, you can view them below.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider Update 4 Hotfix For PC [Patch Notes October 19]
This Hotfix addresses the following issues:
- Fix for audio issues introduced by patch 235.3, related to the use of Windows Spatial Audio for Dolby Atmos. For now we have disabled Atmos support while a full fix that will work for all players is under investigation.
- Fix for crashes when using NVIDIA 2080 or 2080Ti NVIDIA GPU’s with specific driver and OS versions.
- Fix for visual corruption and flickering particles and waterfalls on certain GPU hardware and driver versions.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game was ported to PC by Nixxes, who are known for their quality port work and this shows with the PC version. They are also quick to fix any issues with the PC version as seen with the hotfix released today.
