Sony confirms PS4’s cloud computing capability

Microsoft is going all out in promoting the Xbox One’s cloud computing capability which made made think that why would Sony skip the feature while they’ve gone all out in making sure that their console is better. Shuhei Yoshida who’s the President of Sony Worldwide Studios in an interview with Polygon and revealed that the PS4 does indeed support cloud computing.

Of course,

Linking, matchmaking… there are already many computations being done on the cloud side,

if your title needs [an] online connection to provide some online features: Go for it.

Hardware wise the Xbox One is inferior to the Playstation 4 so Microsoft has been hard at work letting potential customers know that “thanks to the power of the cloud, Xbox One will keep getting better.” and claiming that the cloud has the potential to make the Xbox One four times more powerful.
