Sony fails to deliver 10% PSN discount codes to eligible PSX offer candidates on time

On December 5, right after its PlayStation experience conference this year, Sony had initiated a special offer for PSN members, where purchasing at least one of a selected number of games would get you a 10% discount on your next purchase on the North American Playstation Store. The offer was valid up until 12pm PST on December 8, and eligible candidates were to receive the aforementioned discount codes via email no later than 11:59 PST on December 18. It has been brought to our attention that no codes were sent out, despite it being nearly 3 days since the deadline’s expiration.

The titles that were available in this special offer are listed below.

Note that purchasing any one of these games would qualify you for the 10% off discount code. Unfortunately, as it stands, eligible PSN members are deprived of their right to get a 10% discount on their next purchase.

This wouldn’t be the first time the console maker has put out some rather odd PSN offers. SCEE recently upped the prices for some of its games on the European Playstation Store while also placing them in the “Buy One, Get One Free” offer. In other words, this means that while games like The Order 1886 and Until Dawn were being sold for a cheap price on the PlayStation Store, their price was temporarily raised before the launch of this promotion, essentially nullifying any nullifying potential savings for the most part.

These practices are certainly not smart on Sony’s part, and we hope the console maker rectifies its mistake and sends out discount codes to deserving PSN members.

If you’re one of those who have purchased one of the aforementioned titles available during the PSX offer and have yet to receive a 10% discount code, let us know in the comments below.
