Sony had earlier announced a “Get $10 for Every $50 Spent” promotion for PSN, which allowed us to get extra PSN credit by spending a set amount of cash on the PlayStation Store. We could get up to $100 using this method. Sony has now officially started to give out the bonus credits through email and the XMB messages on the PlayStation 3.
“Get $10 for Every $50 Spent” promotion scheme was announced on the PlayStation Blog at the start of October. The offer was valid up till 24th October. This extra credit can be redeemed until 6th December 2013 – so make sure to do so. Check out the email that we get below.
The code that you can get in your email inbox can be redeemed on the VITA or on the online web store. You can also redeem this amount using the PS3, by opening the message sent by Sony on the XMB.
So what do you think of promotion schemes like these? Do you think this is a good idea? How much bonus credit were you able to acquire using this promotion scheme? Let us know in the comments below.
