Sony Was Apparently Testing 36 More Games For PlayStation Classic

PlayStation Classic might have an ill-fated launch, and it was quickly exploited through an easy method, but there is more to the story apparently.

Sony has a list of 20 games that are playable on the PlayStation Classic, but they were apparently testing 36 more games on the hardware before they settled on the final 20.

If you own a PlayStation Classic, it might be upsetting to see this list, since many of the games that fans had demanded are present here, and this might suck for those who wanted it in this new PS1 mini. Anyways, here is a list of games that didn’t make the cut but references to them were found in the firmware for PlayStation Classic.

The list below is taken from reddit and it also has dupes with multi-region or multi-disc games but the final total is around 36 games.

With the access to the debug menu, it is possible that hackers will be able to gain access to the firmware and install their own PlayStation games, just like it has happened with SNES Mini.
