SoulCalibur 6 comparison between the PS4 Pro and Xbox One reveals a major difference in resolution among other things.
SoulCalibur 6 is the latest 3D fighter from Bandai Namco, and unlike Tekken 7, it offers full support for the Xbox One X. Digital Foundry has recently conducted a technical analysis of SoulCalibur 6 on the PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X. The results are surprising for the game because there is a big difference between the base Xbox One and Xbox One X. It is absolutely massive in simple words.
SoulCalibur 6 runs at native 720p on Xbox One, which is already low enough, but the game apparently targets the lowest quality presets on Xbox One making it the worst version possible. Compared to the base Xbox One, it renders at 1440p on the Xbox One X equivalent to the highest quality settings on PC.
As for the PS4 and PS4 Pro, the game renders at 900p on the PS4 and native 1080p on the PS4 Pro. The quality of the visuals is better than the base Xbox One while the PS4 Pro benefits from the same ultra settings as Xbox One X. The resolution difference between a regular PS4 and PS4 Pro is not that great compared to PS4 Pro vs. Xbox One X.
The performance of the game is exceptional with the 60 FPS target achieved on all platforms. It is remarkable and important to have rock solid performance for a fighting game. You can watch the full technical analysis by Digital Foundry below.
