South Park The Fractured But Whole doesn’t feature a traditional level up mechanics and instead relies on a Hero Rank that still requires experience points but they are earned through a variety of different ways.
You will need to level up your hero rank in order to equip more artifacts which results in increased stats for your characters.
How To Earn Experience Points and Level Up Hero Rank
You will gain experience points in South Park The Fractured But Whole if you complete any task on your character sheet or win a battle. Since battles are rare in South Park, you will have to rely on completing most of your character sheet in order to get a good chunk of experience points. At the start of the game, you can attempt some of the easy tasks like using the toilet of almost every home and making sure to get the maximum amount of rank in the mini game.
You can also attempt crafting and get the basic requirements out of the way in order to get a huge chunk of experience points. Lastly, if you just want to attempt battles, you will be able to find the many rival kids if you roam around in South Park. You can attempt to beat the sixth grade kids, solve puzzles as you explore around the town with your farting powers or collect costumes to earn experience points letting you unlock more of your artifacts.
