Mortal Kombat 11 has been teased in the past by the voice actors, and now another new hint confirms that it is in development for a while now.
Spanish Voice Actor for Kung Lao and Reptile in Mortal Kombat, Lalo Garza, has confirmed the existence of the game in a tweet where he explains the reason why he won’t be able to provide his voice to these characters in the game. The tweet talks about the company which handles the Spanish dubbing of the game and how it has resulted in him no longer able to return to voice these two popular characters.
The relevant portion of the tweet is the one with the hashtag of Mortal Kombat 11. While it is no official confirmation by any means, if the game is already that far in development for the company to start working on regional localization, it can be possible that the release date is coming soon.
An announcement about the game can happen at any of the upcoming events like The Game Awards in December or E3 in May. It is all speculation for now, but this is not the first time Mortal Kombat 11 has been leaked by someone, either intentionally or accidentally.
Mortal Kombat developer is NetherRealm Studios who are led by Ed Boon. They have previously worked on Injustice 2 and haven’t released a new project for a while now.
