Square Enix to announce several games at E3

In its financial results briefing for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015, Square Enix Holdings has announced plans to reveal several new titles at this year’s E3. It will be the first time ever that the company will host its very own conference at E3.

Square Enix recently announced a new entry in the Deus Ex franchise, named Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It appears that the title won’t be the company’s only big showcase during its private conference at E3, as it seems to have some secrets up its sleeve.

In addition, the company will also be showcasing new footage from Dragon Quest Heroes II and Star Ocean 5, in an effort to strengthen and reboot its existing IPs.

This is “DEUS EX,” launched this April. In our private conference at the next E3, we are planning to announce several titles in addition to this one.

We plan to make use of our IP in multifaceted approach, in “DRAGON QUEST HEROESⅡ,” and “STAR OCEAN 5,”, as part of the efforts to strengthen and reboot our existing IPs, as I mentioned earlier.

Given the success of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD remaster, it’s also likely that Square Enix will listen to its fans and announce an HD remaster for Final Fantasy XII.

Only time will tell what these new announcements are, but it’s certain that Square Enix has plenty of new content to show, given its plans to host its own conference at E3. Stay tuned for further updates as they become available.
