Square Enix Might Be Teasing Avengers Project Reveal For E3 2019

Square Enix has been teasing their E3 2019 press conference with a differnet piece of promotional artwork. While the main teaser image and template that they are using is the same, the colors in the background are different.

Square Enix has already confirmed that they will be present at E3 2019 this year. They also held a conference last year but this year is different because they are bringing Final Fantasy VII Remake. They are also expected to make some announcements at their conference including new games.

One of the projects that Square Enix had teased long ago was based on the Avengers IP. There are apparently multiple games in development with collaboration of Marvel. After the success and critical praise of Marvel’s Spider-Man, there is an increased pressure to deliver a quality product.

The speculation around this Avengers reveal started after two tweets by Square Enix were shared that had a background that seemed to line up with the colors of the Infinity Stones.

It is purely speculation for now, but are they going to finally reveal their Avengers Project that has been in development over at Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal. There are reportedly multiple games that they are planning to release as cross-generation games.

Square Enix hasn’t shared anything about their Marvel projects but their teasing with E3 suggests that they are possibly announcing the game there. If this turns out to be true, then they will have quite a conference this year with their upcoming tentpole games getting announced there along with the ones that are already revealed by them. One of these is Final Fantasy VII Remake that just received a re-reveal trailer.
