Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be getting a beta ahead of its official launch this November. The beta will be available to select users on October 6th but those who pre-order the game can get access to the beta early than the official date. They will be able to play the beta on October 4th, almost 2 days early than the launch date for the beta.
As for the content featured in the beta, you will be able to play on the famous Naboo: Theed map that was demonstrated at the recent E3 stage event by EA. The map will come with two different gameplay modes, the Galactic Assault mode and the newly added Starfighter Assault battle. This mode will allow you to pilot a variety of different starfighters from the film in the game.
While details regarding the beta are still shrouded in mystery, it is confirmed to launch on October 4th for those who pre-order the game and October 6th for the rest. As for the end of the beta date, it has been set for October 9th but just like almost every other major beta for a game, you can expect it to get extended during the last day.
More details about the beta and the new Starfighter Assault battle mode will be shared at the upcoming Gamescom.
