If you have played Star Wars Battlefront, you will be aware of the fact there are not many offline modes available in the game. In other words, the game is mainly focused on online multiplayer. But after the large amount of feedback from fans, the developers are now working on bringing some online modes to single player.
A recent report suggests that EA is working on bringing some online modes to single player. In fact, they are working on it as we speak. This was confirmed in a conversation on Star Wars Battlefront official forums between a user Caleb and an EA Customer Support Person. You can have a look at their conversation below.
I know on the forums we have been told that the developers were looking at adding the online game modes to offline game play and I was wondering if we had any updates on this?
The developers are working on it and they have progressed quite a bit.
Does this mean that we will get this update soon or are they still looking into it?
They would hopefully be added they are still working on it.
Do they have a time table for this? and will this be for sure or no?
They have not yet provided us a time frame for the update and yes, they would be as I said they are working on it.
This also confirmed that the update will come soon as the Customer Support person said “The developers are working on it and they have progressed quite a bit.” Though no release date was given, but we will hear something regarding this soon.
Star Wars Battlefront was released for PS4, Xbox One and PC back in November, 2015. The game received a free DLC, Battle of Jaku, some time ago which added two new maps and a new game mode in the game.
