Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has finally gotten its first trailer after a reveal was teased a few weeks ago.
The game was shown off at the Star Wars Celebration event in Chicago that focused on all things about the franchise. The ninth movie also got a trailer recently, which seems to be received fairly positively by fans.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order focuses highly on combat with developers Respawn Entertainment calling it “key”. The Titanfall and Apex Legends developer claim you will need to identify your enemies weaknesses and their attack tactics to win, especially against the Imperial Inquisitors that you see in the trailer. Sounds like Star Wars with a Dark Souls inspiration doesn’t it?
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order takes place after Order 66 and puts players in the shoes of a Padawan on the run from the Empire. The trailer shows the Padawan trying to live a normal life until he’s put into a bind, which leads to the Empire sending some mean looking enemies after him. The game is available for pre-order now will include “unique cosmetic content” as a bonus. There will also be a $70 Deluxe Edition which will include additional cosmetic items and a “Director’s Cut suite” behind the scenes content which certainly sounds tempting. As previously noted, the game will not have microtransactions.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year on November 15.
