Nordic Games, in partnership with Microsoft Studios, has announced State Of Decay: Year One Survival Edition. The package pictured below will contain both the main game and it’s 2 DLC packs, Breakdown and Lifeline, alongside an audio CD of the game’s soundtrack and a poster. The game will be released on August 9th and has a price tag of $19.99.
State Of Decay was released back in 2013 on both the Xbox 360 and the PC, and later also came out as the Year One Survival Edition on both the PC and the Xbox One in 2015. Up till this point, the game was only available as a digital edition, meaning that the upcoming bundle will be the first instance of the game receiving a physical release.
The game currently holds an average score of 78 on Metacritic regardless of the fact that it originally came out over 2 years ago. It still has quite the following and so it only made sense for the open world zombie survival game to finally be getting a much awaited retail release.
At E3 this year, Undead Labs also announced the sequel to the critically acclaimed State Of Decay with State Of Decay 2, which will be coming to PC and Xbox One sometime in 2017. We previously reported on the announcement which you can check out here.
