Microsoft and Undead Labs has released a new DLC pack for State of Decay 2. This Daybreak Pack DLC is available to download now on the Xbox One and Windows 10. It adds ” a new re-playable, co-op game mode, but will also include a new freak – the Blood Plague Juggernaut.” The price of this pack is $9.99 and it is also part of the Ultimate Edition for the game.
This new DLC pack adds a re-playable co-op “zombie siege” experience. You can team up with 3 other players and play as the Red Talon soldiers which are highly skilled and have access to high-tech weaponry. Players and up to three teammates will take up the role of highly-skilled Red Talon soldiers with access to new high-end weaponry. They are given the task to defend a position while a technician will attempt to repair a critical satellite relay.
This is an extremely dangerous mission and on top of it, the addition of a new freak – ultra challenging Blood Plague Juggernaut – will make this extra harder for those who have already played through the game once. It requires a new strategy and team play in order to succeed with this DLC. You can also make use of the new weapons including nine ranged, six melee and six deployable bombs. This DLC pack also adds 250 gamerscore to the base game making it an extra challenge for those who have already finished it 100 percent.
State of Decay 2 is available now for the Xbox One and Windows 10. It is also a part of the Xbox Game Pass where you can play it for free if you have a valid subscription and then get this new Daybreak DLC pack to enjoy all the new content.
