Street Fighter V is one of the most anticipated fighting game from Capcom. It is a console exclusive to PS4 and it will also be released for PC. The game is set to launch on February 16 on Steam and PlayStation Store. If you have pre-ordered a digital copy of the game, you should be able to start the download ahead of the official launch.
Street Fighter V has a full install size of around 12 GB. The initial pre-load is half of that and requires the user download around 7 GB of data while the rest is downloaded in the background.
Street Fighter V will launch with 16 playable fighters but more will be added later as DLC in the subsequent months. The first confirmed DLC character is Alex who will be available to purchase in March. The rest of the fighters will get released each month starting with Alex in March and concluding with the 6th DLC character in September. Capcom also plans to launch a story mode expansion in June, which will be released as a free update to all the users.
Capcom plans to support Street Fighter V in the long run and has already outlined their plans. This includes monthly free content updates and DLC characters. These DLC characters can be bought as part of the Season Pass for $29.99 or they can be purchased for free in game by using Fight Money, which is a virtual currency that players earn in the game by fulfilling various conditions.
Street Fighter V will be out on February 16th for the PC and PS4. It is developed and published by Capcom.
