Suikoden II might be getting a PSN release according to ESRB rating

Suikoden II is one my favorite games of all time, I remember being blown away by the intriguing story and awesome gameplay during the PS1 days. Unfortunately the game received a very limited print release making it one of the most difficult games to find.

Good news for fans of the Suikoden series then, as according to a recent rating by the ESRB board Konami might be planning on giving Suikoden II its long awaited and well deserved PSN release. The game has been rated Teen, like its original release and will most likely be released as a PS1 Classic allowing players to play it on both the PS Vita and PS3.

Suikoden II is touted by many to be one of the best JRPGs of all time. The game features a huge cast with over 100 playable characters. Critics also praised the game for its deep tactical combat in addition to the standard turn based combat that was norm at the time.

I’m personally really excited for a Suikoden II release on the PSN, I listed the series of as one of many JRPGs that need to make a comeback with the release of the new consoles. What are your thoughts on Suikoden II finally getting a PSN release? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
