Nintendo has shared a brand new trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey. If you haven’t been keeping up with the game, the trailer will show all the important new gameplay mechanics and gives an overview of the whole game.

Super Mario Odyssey is the first 3D mario game on the Nintendo Switch. The game features a new gameplay mechanic in the form of a magical hat that Mario can throw to transfer his soul to the target. It results in a unique gameplay system that lets the player control the creatures that they encounter throughout the game to solve puzzles or progress through levels.
Super Mario Odyssey was originally revealed alongside the Nintendo Switch and confirmed to launch in Holiday 2017. The game later received a release date set for October 27 and it will release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. There is also support for limited co-op in the form of the hat that the other player can have limited control.
