Both physical and digital versions of Sword Art Online: Lost Song will be made available this Fall for PlayStation 4 and Vita, with the option to choose from English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitles. On the other hand, Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment will only be sold as a download title this Summer for PS4. As an added incentive, those who also have the PS Vita version will be able to transfer some items along with save data to the PS4 version and also gain access to DLC at a later date.

Bandai Namco also revealed a new trailer for Sword Art Online: Lost Song’s upcoming Player of Arms update, which brings Seven and Lux to the mix of playable characters. The trailer also gives a glimpse at new episodes featuring Seven and Rain. In addition to new quests that feature giant enemy bosses, the update will also add a new PvP event. This information was made public via a demonstration from Eir Aoi and the folks at Dengeki.

Footage from the demonstration can be seen below.

The demonstration showed how engaging it is to be able to fight against other players using the characters you’ve raised raised.

Characters assume specific roles during the player versus player mode. For example, Asuna is a capable healer in the PvP scenario, where you’ll have two teams of four going head-to-head.

Asuna can also use speedy sword skill moves in close-ranged combat. Mobility is vital during combat, and the ability to fly around can aid you in distancing yourself from the enemy in difficult situations. That said, there are some stages where you won’t be able to fly, as there is limited space for maneuvering.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song’s Player of Arms update is scheduled to go live on May 28, 2015.
