Switch bound Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition get an April release date in Japan

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition, the Nintendo Switch version of the game originally released for PS4 and Vita in 2016 and PC in 2017, finally has a release date in Japan. The game will release on April 25 for 5,700 yen with pre-orders beginning today.

This news was accompanied by the reveal of Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition’s opening movie, check that out here.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition was also previously confirmed for a western release, but that’s still marked as Spring 2019 for now, hopefully we get an exact date soon.

The Deluxe Edition includes all of Hollow Realizations’s DLC including the three chapters of the “Abyss of the Shrine Maiden” saga.

I played the game the game on the PS4 and its pretty long so the package is certainly good value. I’m not really a huge fan of the Anime outside of the first season and maybe Gun Gale Online but the game was certainly addicting even though I wouldn’t call it “good”. I ended up spending a good 60 hours and there was a ton left to do as well. Check out our review here.
