Bandai Namco has revealed Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, a brand new Sword Art Online game currently in development for the Playstation 4 and PS Vita. The game was teased back at last month’s Tokyo Game Show conference as the fourth mainline SOA game.
In Hollow Realization players once again take control of Kirito as he explores “Sword Art Online: Origin” a brand new VRMMORPG based on the original game that started it all off. While playing the game Kirito receives a mysterious message and its up to him to investigate further. More information is promised on Thursday in the 600th issue of Dengeki Playstation.

Along with the game a Special Edition PS4 was also announced themed around Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization. The PS4 called the “PlayStation 4 Sword Art Online: Game Director’s Edition Aincrad Model” will be available in two colours; Jet Black and Glacier White and will sell through the Sony Online store for 42,980 yen. Pre-orders for the console start on October 5 at 11:00 a.m. Japan time while the console will release on November 19.
On the same day Bandai Namco is also releasing Sword Art Online: Game Director’s Edition. SOA: Game Director’s Edition includes Sword Art Online: Lost Song on the PS4 and a digital download code for Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization does not yet have a release date.
