The popular rhythm drum beating games from the Taiko no Tatsujin are making their way to the Nintendo Switch and PS4 later this year. Taiko no Tatsujin is an extremely popular rhythm game in Japan that has received a release on almost every major platform. This is the first time PS4 and Nintendo Switch owners will be able to play a localized version of these games, although they don’t really require much effort play in Japanese.
Here are the details about these upcoming two games, as shared in the press release by Bandai Namco.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! for PlayStation®4 plays to the spirited competitive side of Taiko with its Ranked Mode, enabling players to connect online and test their skills against Taiko players around the world. Players will also have the chance to unlock costumes, sound effects, and greetings for the Taiko no Tatsujin mascot Don-chan, and play Guest Session with popular characters such as Heihachi from Tekken, Pac-Man® and Hello Kitty®.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! for Nintendo Switch® and Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! for PlayStation®4 will be available 2nd November, 2018. For more information about Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun!, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session!
If you are playing the Nintendo Switch version, it will also support motion controllers to replicate the arcade-style experience.
Both games will be available in the West on November 2nd. They are being published by Bandai Namco Games.
