Bandai Namco has announced that their premier RPG franchise, the Tales of series, has crossed over 20 million units sold worldwide across a wide variety of platforms.
The series launched back in December 1995 on the Super Famicom with Tales of Phantasia and the rest is history.
The most recent release, or should I say re-release, in the series is Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition which released for a bunch of platforms including the PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC in January of this year. Check out our review here.
A new original Tales of game was confirmed last year but haven’t heard much about the game since then. However the yearly Tales of Festival could yield some more information, so mark June 15 and 16 on your calendars.
