Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition has sold big numbers, even outselling the original release of the game on the Xbox 360 back in 2008.
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition landed #9 on the latest UK Sales Charts, as New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe claimed the #1 spot. Check out the Top 10 selling games of the week in the UK below (via):
|Last Week||This Week||Title|

|2||3||Red Dead Redemption 2|
|3||4||Call of Duty: Black Ops 4|
|4||5||Super Smash Bros Ultimate|
|7||6||Mario Kart 8 Deluxe|
|Re-entry||8||Grand Theft Auto V|
|New Entry||9||Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition|
|6||10||Forza Horizon 4|
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition’s sales volume consisted of 49% being on the Nintendo Switch, 43% on the PS4 and the rest of the 8% on the Xbox One. Note the game is also available on PC via Steam, but that’s digital only and these charts track retail sales.
Usually Remasters see just a percentage of the original’s release sales but Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition managed to outsell the original Xbox 360 by 40% (via). Although to be the game is available on four platforms now, the number is probably even higher because these charts don’t count the PC numbers. Although Vesperia sold very well at the time, like I mentioned in my review, it had the potential to do much better and its showing.
