Although Namco Bandai didn’t reveal any new Tales of games at Tokyo Game Show this year, the mysterious Tales of Zestiria showed up as a trademark registered by the Japanese company in both the USA and Europe.
Siliconera found both the Europe and USA trademarks which we’re hoping are the real deal. The game has been registered for use with computer game software, video game software, and downloadable computer game software which is standard practice.
Registering a trademark in Europe and USA leads us to believe that Tales of Zestiria is being localized which is great to see. Tales of Xillia, which is the most recent Tales of title to be localized took around 2 years to hit western shores.
Tales of Zestiria hasn’t been officially announced yet but many are expecting it to be the next main Tales of game. A platform for Tales of Zestiria is still up in mystery but it would be great to see a Tales game on next generation consoles.
The most recent Tales of game released was Tales of Xillia last month, we found it to be really good and gave it an 8.5. Read out Tales of Xillia review here.
