Tales of Xillia 2 Collector’s Edition announced, will cost $129

Sequel to last year’s awesome PS3 exclusive JRPG, Tales of Xillia 2 will be getting a very expensive Collector’s Edition according to publishers Bandai Namco. Releasing in August 19 in North America and three days later on August 22 in Europe, Tales of Xillia 2 will be the JRPG to play this Summer.

The Tales of Xillia 2 Collector’s Edition will cost $129 in North America and will be also released in Europe, although a price has not been revealed for that region. The Collector’s Edition will include the following:

  • Tales of Xillia 2 Game Disc
  • Ludger Kresnik Figure
  • Elle’s Pocket Watch Replcia
  • Tales of Xillia 2 Music CD
  • Tales of Xillia 2 Art Book
  • Classic Tales of Costume DLC (Yuri Lowell, Emil Castagnier, and Asbel Lhant)
  • (North America) Rollo plush charm
  • (Europe) Ludger’s emblematic cat Rollo

That sure is a lot of stuff but the price may be a bit too much for many. Luckily there will also be a Day 1 Edition for fans who pre-order the game. The Day 1 Edition will include a Soundtrack CD and Steelbook. Check out of both of the special editions below (click to enlarge):

Hopefully Bandai Namco is a bit quicker to localize future titles like Tales of Zestiria. So which one are you planning to get? The Collector’s Edition or the Day 1 Edition? Let us know in the comments below.
