Tekken 7 Adds Bob and Master Raven To the Roster

During Evo 2016, game director Katsuhiro Harada introduced two new characters for Tekken 7, Returning character Bob and Master Raven.

First introduced back in Tekken 6, Bob is described as a “Freestyle Karate practitioner”. He is one of the most well rounded fighters in the entire series, using a mixture of strength, speed, and a wide variety of attacks. This time around he also seems to have a brand new appearance as well.

The second introduction was for a female character named Master Raven, who is a Ninjutsu practitioner who fights using a combination of swordplay and hand-to-hand combat. Not only does Master Raven share her name and fighting style with Raven from Tekken 5, but if you’ll watch the trailer below, she also seems to have a very similar moveset. Till now, we have no information as to how these characters may be connected.

Tekken 7 is the latest game in the wildly popular Tekken franchise, and is the first game in the series to utilize the Unreal Engine. Although Tekken 7 has previously had a limited arcade release in Japan, it has not yet gotten a global release.

The game is currently set to release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in early 2017.
