Tekken 7 is available now for the PS4, PC and Xbox One however some of the users are reporting issues with matchmaking on their PS4. These issues are mostly being reported from users who are playing the game on PS4 and this is something has been reported on reddit, GameFAQs and other online forums. These issues have resulted in users failing to join a match because it is dropped the instant a player connects online.
While there is no official confirmation of the issues that are currently mostly faced by PS4 users, Tekken 7 creator and producer, Katsuhiro Harada has recently confirmed in a tweet that they might change the system in a future update to the game. Harada was talking about this change in response to a user who complained about the terrible matchmaking that is currently an issue on platforms, although more severe on PS4 where some users have reported that the online is completely broken.
If matching is not possible from "Match List" of ranked match, "WARM-UP" is recommended now.
Probably, We'll update (or change) this system.

The good news though is that while matchmaking might be broken and require some fixing, the net code is reportedly solid which is great to hear after coming from games like Street Fighter V. Tekken 7 is also one of the first game to launch simultaneously on PC although there is no cross-platform multiplayer for it.
Tekken 7 was released on June 2nd for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
