Tekken 7 Has Sold-In Over 2 Million Copies

Tekken 7 appears to be a smash hit for the developer Bandai Namco Games. The game was released this Summer for the PS4, Xbox One and PC and has already surpassed more than 2 million copies shipped so far. This was revealed in a tweet by the game producer Katsuhiro Harada.

Tekken 7 was the first game in the series to be released simulateously for the consoles and PC. It has managed to sell well compared to other fighting games judging from its latest sales update. The game has now sold-in over 2 million copies across the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Tekken 7 was originally released in Japanese arcades while a console version has been long in development. The game has received the first DLC adding Tekken Bowl mode and more content including additional characters are currently in development for the game. It also has support for Jukebox and additional PlayStation VR mode that is exclusive to the PlayStation 4. This mode lets you fight with the PS VR while having the ability to witness all the action of the fights in motion through your VR headset.

Tekken 7 is available now for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It was developed and published by Bandai Namco Games. Katsuhiro Harada is the game producer for Tekken and has worked on the series throughout the major releases.
