Tekken 7 received a major season 2 patch recently but it messed up some of the fighter balance so a new update was released today.
Tekken series producer, Katsuhiro Harada talked about this emergency patch after fans started to complain about issues with the game being broken due to the most recent season 2 patch.
Harada announced the patch details on Twitter confirming that it will be out soon and we can see, the update is available to download now on the PS4. It is under 150 MB and will patch the game to version 2.01 on PS4.
There are no official patch notes available for this update, but hopefully, Bandai Namco can share a changelog soon. In the meanwhile, if we check the patch notes on the PS4 directly it simply mentions ‘fixed various bugs’ without any details. It is best to check out the game if you experience any issue after the new patch to see if they are fixed.
Tekken 7 is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game was developed by Bandai Namco and uses Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4. It was the first Tekken game to launch this generation and has continued to receive strong post-launch support with the announcement of another season pass 2 adding more new characters to the game.
