The Division 2: How to Play Solo?

The Division 2, the latest Action RPG by Ubisoft, is oriented around multiplayer mode. However, if you are looking forward to playing The Division 2 solo then the article will guide you.

The Division 2 experience might be better with teammates covering your flanks but you can always drop out of the matchmaking system and play as a single-player.

How far can you get playing as a single-player in The Division 2?

The Division 2 allows you to play solo up till the end game. As the game sets the difficulty level according to the party size, your difficulty level will be accordingly when playing solo.

Tactics for playing Solo in The Division 2

Using Cover

Playing alone, you will not have anyone to cover your flanks or revive you. For this reason, you will have to use cover as much as possible to avoid damage.

Engaging Enemies From a Distance

To avoid getting hit and knocked out, it is recommended to engage enemies from a distance. This will help you in getting through The Division 2 as a Single-player.

Approach with Caution

Playing as a single-player, it is very important that you enter each room with caution. During the missions in the game, there could be hostiles hiding in rooms waiting to ambush you and playing solo, there won’t be a chance of revival.

Keep your Weapon Reloaded

To play and survive in The Division 2 as a single-player, you should always keep your weapon reloaded.

If you have to reload your weapon during combat, then there won’t be anyone to back you up.

What gear to use as a single-player in The Division 2?

Firstly, it is recommended that you keep a long range rifle as well as an SMG for combat. Rifle for is going to be your main option for attack and having a scope with it would be beneficial. SMG is effective for close combat due to its high firing rate. Other than this, the two skills that would benefit you playing solo in The Division 2 are the Striker Drone and Assault Turret. Both these skills fire at the hostiles automatically and help as a cover fire or distraction for getting to an enemy from cover. Lastly, you will need Hive Revive Skill that will help when knocked down given the skill isn’t on cooldown.

This is all on playing The Division 2 is a single-player, leave a comment below for any more suggestions.
