The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero fan translation team The Geofront released the English edited version of the game’s opening movie titled Way of Life, and teased a new update for the end of the week.
Trails from Zero or Zero no Kiseki is the first game of the Crossbell Saga that followed the Trails in the Sky games. Originally released in 2010 and 2011 on the PSP, Trails from Zero and its sequel Trails to Azure are still to be localized to this day. Chances are slim of this happening now however as the Trails of Cold Steel games have taken focus, with NISA recently announcing Trails of Cold Steel III for a Fall 2019 Western release on the PS4.
The translation team teased a new update for this weekend via Twitter.
Hey, everyone! Y’know what game has a good OP? Trails from Zero! And now, it’s in English! I hope you guys enjoy it. In the meantime, we’re preparing for another Geofront update which should drop this weekend! Enjoy Way of Life, everyone!
The Trails from Zero translation is complete, but the team is currently working on editing and adding features, like improved widescreen support and turbo mode to just name a few. The project started way back in 2017 and will hopefully conclude this year.

In related news we covered how much of a challenge localization Trails games are as it was recently revealed that Trails of Cold Steel III’s script is larger than all seven of the Harry Potter books and all three of the The Lord of the Rings Books. We’re really looking forward to Cold Steel III’s Western release for later this year, especially when it was confirmed that key members from the original team were coming back to work on this project. The game can be pre-ordered right now if you’re interested to get the Early Enrollment Edition.
