As promised by XSeeD when announcing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I & II for the PS4 last month, Japanese VA DLC has been added to the PC versions of the game as DLC. This marks the first time a Falcom game has had dual audio in the West, the PS4 releases of the the two games will of course coming with dual audio on launch day.
The patch is available now on both Steam, Humble and GOG versions of the game.

Trails of Cold Steel PC Update Version 1.4 Patch Notes
New features:
- Added an option for Japanese voice language.
- Added 4 Steam leaderboards. Compare your scores against your Steam friends — and everyone else — in Total Battle Victories, Triple Advantage Battles, Angler Points and Academic Points. Note: if you already completed the game, you need to start it and load a save for your scores to be uploaded. (This is a Steam-only feature)
Graphics Improvements:
- Added a high resolution UI font option to the launcher.
- Added the ability to natively load modded textures. (Check out BigHead’s fantastic high-res UI texture mod)

New features:

Cold Steel I & II are the first two entries of a four part series, the later two games are still to be localized for the West.
Trails of Cold Steel I & II release early next year on the PS4, which gives us a hope for the next two games to get localized in the near future. Cold Steel IV the final entry in the Erebonia arc release back in September in Japan on the PS4.
