The Long Dark update version 1.44 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s what is included in this update.
The Long Dark has recently received a major update that completely revamps the first two episodes. The third episode for The Long Dark was delayed so the developers wanted to support the game with some new content while they work on releasing the new episode in 2019. These old episodes were given the Redux treatment that made much quality of life changes and added new content.

*[ALL] Fixed colour grading for early-morning ambient lighting effects.
*[SURVIVAL MODE] Fixed Rabbitskin Hat not appearing on the Paper Doll screen for the female survivor.
*[WINTERMUTE] Improved the Old Bear’s pathing when in the cave system during the What One Man Can Do mission in Episode Two. Please note we’re still working to resolve all scenarios where the Old Bear can become stuck.
So these are mostly bug fixes that are released as part of the new update for The Long Dark. We are not going to see new content until the next year, which should hopefully be good.
