The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open world RPG developed CD Projekt RED and published by CD Projekt. The game is considered one of the best games of 2015, as it has received several nominations and more then 200 game of the year awards.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition was spotted on the German ratings board. The leak confirmed that the game will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will not be developed for PlayStation Neo and Microsoft’s Project Scorpio, however, the game will be backwards compatible so players will be able to play it on the new consoles, but the game will not support 4K.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunter’s Director, Konrad Tomaszklewicz, confirmed the existence of the game of the year edition during an interview with Eurogamer. Tomaszklewicz said, “We’ll release more details, including the release date, in the future.”
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition will include the full game, as well as the two expansion packs, Heart of Stone and Blood & Wine. The game itself takes several hours to complete and the expansion packs add around 50 hours worth of additional gameplay. Heart of Stone has a price tag of $9.99 while the Blood & Wine expansion pack is worth $19.99. You can also purchase these expansion packs in a bundle, which will cost you $24.99. These expansion packs will be included in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition. At the moment, CD Projekt has not announced a release date for the game.
