Thief PC System Requirements Revealed

Eidos has officially revealed the system requirements for Thief on PC.

You can check out the minimum and recommended specifications below:

Minimum System Requirements:

OS: Windows Vista with platform update
CPU: High-performance dual core CPU or quad core CPU
RAM: 4 GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon 4800 series / Nvidia GTS 250
DirectX: DirectX 10
HDD/SSD: 20 GB

Recommended Specs:

OS: Windows 7 or 8
CPU: AMD FX 8000 series or better / Intel i7 Quad Core CPU
RAM: 4+ GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD / R9 series or better / Nvidia GTX 660 series or better
DirectX: DirectX 11
HDD/SSD: 20 GB

As can be seen from the requirements above, they don’t seem to be too demanding. The minimum requirement is a DirectX 10 AMD Radeon 4800 series or Nvidia GTS 250, both of whom should be able to run the game reasonably at the medium settings. Like most next generation games, the hard disk requirements seem to be quite high and at least 20 GB is required for installing Thief. We expect the next generation versions to have similar size as the PC release.

Thief is an upcoming stealth fps that is set to launch on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC this February. It is quite a cult classic series that was recently resurrected again under the development of Eidos Montreal.

What do you think of these requirement? Does you PC meet these requirements? Let us know in the comments below.
