For those of you eagerly anticipating the release of Respawn Entertainment’s latest game Titanfall 2, good news is afoot.
Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment, has announced via his Twitter that Titanfall 2 has gone gold. What this basically means, for those who may not know, is that development on the game has now been fully completed and mass production of the game discs are now in full swing.
Titanfall 2 is the sequel to 2014’s critically acclaimed Titanfall, and unlike it’s predecessor, will feature a full length single player campaign. Also unlike the original game, Titanfall 2 is not exclusive to Xbox platforms and the PC, with the game getting a release for the PlayStation 4 as well.
Congrats to the #Titanfall2 team on going GOLD!

A trailer released earlier this month also gave players a brief introduction to the six brand new Titans featured in the game, which is a step up from the three present in the first game. These are Legion, Ronin, Northstar, Ion, Scorch and Tone. Each of them come equipped with their own versatile range of weaponry and abilities, and are highly varied in the way they play.
Titanfall 2 is slated for release on 28th October, 2016 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC. The game also recently had 2 Open Multiplayer Tech Tests.
