Titanfall IP Not Sold To Microsoft, Denies Founder Of Respawn Entertainment

Titanfall is an upcoming next-generation online-only first person shooter title and the first title of Respawn Entertainment. Titanfall is a console exclusive to Xbox platform and will also be appearing on the PC. Recently during The Verge podcast, Chris Grant, who is Polygon’s Edition-In-Chief, outright said that Microsoft has bought the Titanfall IP and hence shutting down the hope that Titanfall will ever see the light of day on any other console besides Xbox.

Taken aback, the gaming community took to twitter to seek answers from Vince Zampella, who is the co-founder of Respawn Entertainment. Vince Zampella clearly denied that no such thing has happened amnd Respawn Entertainment holds the rights to the Titanfall IP and have not and will not be sold to anyone.

His reassurance once again reinstated the hope that Titanfall may see a release on PlayStation 4.

What do you think about Titanfall coming to other platforms? Should it stay as an exclusive to just one platform? Let us know in the comments below.
