The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III announced for Nintendo Switch, scheduled for Spring 2020

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is coming to the Nintendo Switch via publisher NISA sometime in Spring 2020 in North America and Europe.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III was released for the PS4 in October and is one of our favorite games of the year. If interested, do check out our review here.

The game will obviously have to be adjusted to work on the Switch which is why it’ll be running at 720p@30fps locked in both docked and undocked modes.

Here’s some gameplay so you can check out the game in action (do note however that this build of the game is still in development):

NISA also confirmed that the game will launch with the same special editions as the PS4 version i.e the Early Enrollment Edition and Thors Academy Edition.

Adding to that the standard edition, as well as all the special editions, of the game will include all DLC so you’re saving quite a bit of money if you look up the prices for all the individual items.

Well I’m personally gonna be dipping to play the game again. I’ve always stated that the Trails series belongs and plays best on a portable platform with the Switch being the ideal home for it. I’m so happy for the series to now land on Nintendo’s massively successful console as it can only lead to good things for the franchise.

Looking forward to playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III on the Nintendo Switch? Let us know in the comments.
