Treyarch adds ‘Mute all except Party’ setting to Black Ops 3, saves lives

If you’ve ever played a Call of Duty game online, this announcement ought to make you jump out of your seat.

Game Design Director David Vonderhaar just posted a Vine on his Twitter confirming that the much requested ‘Mute all except Party’ setting is now in Black Ops 3. Enabling this option will automatically mute all randoms when joining a new lobby. Previous we’d have to mute other players each time we’d a new lobby which was really annoying. Addition of this option makes me much more excited to play the Beta next week, which should hopefully have this option added in.

Looking forward to the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Beta next week? Make sure you’ve pre-ordered the game to guarantee your access. The Beta starts August 19 on Playstation and will be exclusive for 5 days to the console.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 releases on November 6 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One
