Treyarch’s Call of Duty 2015 teases continue in Black Ops 2

Call of Duty 2015 is all set to be revealed soon and developers Treyarch are teasing fans all over Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and their social media. Treyarch are brilliant developers and Black Ops 2 is probably my favorite Call of Duty so I’m personally really excited for their return to the series after Infinity Ward had a go with Ghosts and Sledgehammer Games with Advanced Warfare.

The tease started off with Snapchat Ghosts appearing on posters in Black Ops 2 multiplayer which lead to Treyarch’s official account. They’re probably planning some sort of reveal there, similar to how Advanced Warfare was teased on Vine last year.

The latest tease is in the game’s Message of the Day which reads: “And so it begins”. There’s also a picture of a Christmas tree with a blue background. After further investigation the image contains a secret emblem which is the logo of a real company called Watermans Applied Sciences.

In Black Ops 2 there are a couple of more small hints. The B from the Ballista Sniper Rifle has been removed, along with the 4 from the AN-94 Assault Rifle and 1 from the 100 points you get with each kill. These three spell B41, which was a thermonuclear weapon used by the United States in the 1960s. Could this mean that Call of Duty 2015 or some sections of it will take place in the past? Well, it certainly would be a change of pace with all these Modern Shooters!

Treyarch also updated their social media banners with what looks like flashes or burning embers.

Not too far from the reveal now, so just hold on tight. Whatever they’re paying Activision’s marketing department is not enough, my hype for the game is through the roof!

What could Call of Duty 2015 be? Black Ops 3? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
