Trials Fusion Features Better Resolution on PS4 Than Xbox One

Ubisoft will be releasing the next instalment of Trials series very soon. The game will be called Trials Fusion and will be available on the PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, but PS4 players will be enjoying the game and at a higher resolution than the Xbox One.

The developers of Trials Fusion, RedLynx, revealed that the game will run at 60 FPS on every console it’s available on, however, it will not run at the same resolution. Ubisoft told Gamesbeat that the PS4 will run Trials Fusion at 1080p while the Xbox One will run Trials Fusion at 900p.

Many game developers and publishers have had the same problem with the Xbox One. When the consoles were first launched, games like Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts were available for everyone to enjoy but with some difference. The Xbox One had a disadvantage because it ran games at a lower resolution. Call of Duty: Ghosts ran at 720p on Xbox One, while on the PS4, it ran at 1080p. Battlefield 4 ran at 720p on the Xbox One, while on the PS4, it ran at 900p. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was 900p on Xbox One and 1080p on PS4.

The reason behind the Xbox One’s lower resolution is the RAM. Both the PS4 and Xbox One have similar processors from AMD called Jaguar but the RAM the PS4 uses is 8GB of superfast GDDR5 RAM while the Xbox One uses a slower 8GB DDR RAM.

Trials Fusion will be available on the 16th of April for the PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
