Umbrella Corps, the Resident Evil spin-off tactical zombie shooter thing, isn’t being received well by critics and fans alike. The game is currently holding a score of 40 on Metacritic, making it one of the worst reviewed games of the year.
By the looks of things it seems sales aren’t good either as a measly 79 players are playing Umbrella Corps currently. The game peaked at around 430.
Ouch, no wonder Capcom removed the Resident Evil name from the game.
With such a low number playing, players are reporting it really hard to find games.
Expect the Playstation 4 version’s numbers to be higher but I doubt they’d be significantly better. The game was sent to stores without any recent promotion, suggesting that Capcom knew what they’d had on their hands.
Umbrella Corps is available now on PC and Playstation 4.
