Uncharted 4 Looks Stunning Running On PS4 Pro In This Direct-Feed 1080p Video

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has just received a brand new update today that adds support for the PS4 Pro 4K resolution and HDR. We have already covered direct-feed screenshots from the game which were shared by a PS4 Pro user who managed to get an early access to the hardware.

While the game looks like an improvement in 4K mode, without any noticeable visual downgrades, it remains to be seen how it looks in direct-feed 1080p video. Now the user has shared the first 1080p video taken directly from the PS4. Keep in mind that the standard PS4 only allows recording and sharing videos in 720p so the jump to 1080p with PS4 Pro is already a significant improvement over the original PS4.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was released in May 2016 for the PS4. The PS4 Pro mode is confirmed to support 4K rendering but Naughty Dog hasn’t detailed its resolution yet. It is possible that the game renders at a slightly lower than 4K resolution and then upscales to it. There are no details shared regarding the benefits on playing on 1080p TV, but we can expect some visual improvements along with supersampling.
