During the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer Twitch stream from yesterday, developer Naughty Dog revealed new details regarding the gameplay and discussed what we can expect to see in the multiplayer beta, which goes live later this week. Besides showing off new features such as addition of mystical items and sidekicks, the developer confirmed that UC4’s beta file size will be around 7GB. As per norm, though, the download size may differ slightly depending on your region.
In addition, Naughty Dog confirmed that there won’t be any preload for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s multiplayer beta. You’re going to have to the beta client as soon as it’s available. As always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted on that front.
Note that only those with a physical or digital copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be able to access the UC4 beta. in order to download the beta client, follow the instructions provided on the leaflet inside your copy, as seen below.
The beta starts this Friday, December 04 and will end on Sunday, December 13, meaning that it will be available for a total of 9 days.
Update: Playstation Europe has just announced that the beta will begin a day earlier, on December 03.
